Reviews and comments written for the hornady roundnose bullet.

the best of the "no frills bread and butter hunting bullet. nothing fancy or sexy about this round nose except the performance. I load this bullet in a 160 grain 267 diameter 6.5 in a heavily sports modified "gun show special" carcano..you all know the type. I use this as my truck or beater rifle when iam out for a hike or mooching around for targets of opportunity. crows ,badgers, a fox numerous raccoons, beavers ,and other assorted game has fallen to this round including a few ground potted pheasants, and fools hens a doe deer, a wild boar and feral horse that took up residence on our ranch plus a missed shot at a marauding bear. the interlock design and simplicity of the design has never failed . for the money its the best of the best. Kudos to hornady for this and other oddball bullets like the .228 savage hi power and the 223 hornet. lets us keep enjoying shooting these old rifles
