| I use the 53gr Sierra JHP .224 bullets in my accurized Mini-14 and my custom Martini Cadet in 222R. The bullets are very accurate and so far on wild hogs, deadly. I shot a 100 pound sow with the Mini at a dead run, at 75 yards, behind the shoulder, bang, flop, with a half inch exit wound. The 222R turns turtles into rain, when I catch them in my fish pond. |

| The 308 caliber 110 gr. JHP is a super accurate bullet in my 3006. 3/4" groups at 300 yds are common. I live in a low wind area. The balistic coeficient is low on this bullet so I don't know how well it will work in windy areas. Velocity is 3410 fps from a 22" barrel, WLR primer,58.5 gr. RL 15, O.A.L. 3.065", winchester case |
