Reviews and comments written for the Remington core lokt bullet.
I used the 150gr soft nose Remington express out of my ruger 270 at 200 yards on a big heavy 6x6 bull elk and had great results. Three shots, two were through the lungs at 200 yards and the third was quartered away at 250 that entered the back ribs and exited out the opposite armpit. None were retrieved all went through! The bull went 40 yards from the first shot.

My wife and I started using Remington 180 grain, pointed soft point Core Lokt factory ammo a few years ago. She shoots a Browning .308 and I was hunting with a Ruger 30-06. The price was right and both rifles shot 1.25 to 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards. we have taken 5 Wyoing elk with them and found 3 bullets under the hide on the exit side of the elk. All were mushroomed out nicely and in one piece. The lightest one weighted 146 grains. These bullets perform like expensive, premium bullets. The .308 rounds chronographed at 2660 FPS only 50 FPS slower than the 30-06. I cannot ask for better terminal performance.
