I use bullets of RWS Doppelkern 165 grain in .300 Win. Mag. loaded with Vihtavuori N160 ( 74.2 grain ) for wild boars and roe deers. With a good precision and perfect expansion, the bullet makes always the exit hole with a lot of blood on the trace of the injuried animal. ( Usually I shoot in a distance from 21 to 218 yds ). But for the hunt in the wood I advise to use a heavy bullet, because the nouse-the top of the RWS DK is soft.
