I shoot a Sako in .338 lapua on a regular basis and have tested nosler partition 210gr at 3330 fps everytime less than 70 % weight retention, lost all petals only base was recovered I think speed is too high, barnes-X, A-frame, and others but the one that stands a head above the rest is the combined technologies, 250 gr partition with molycoat. I shot this bullet in same medium as the rest, 18 inches of glued rubber pieces and phone books to stop the bullet. I never got less than 92% weight retention and avg around .7 inch expansion at 3155 fps and have groups less than 2 1/2 inches at 300 yds. great bullet and cartridge combo. It is now the only hunting bullet I will use for this rifle.
