I have been shooting these 140gr bullets in 7mmRemMag behind 66 grs IMR4350 for years. Have killed dozens of deer with them. Yes, they make a mess if your shot was wrong and you hit meat!!! Yes, they will blow a huge exit hole when hit behind the shoulder, yes, I did once shot a whitetail buck at 450 yds and the bullet did not exit!!! BUT the entrance wound would have held a basketball..DEAD DEER IN IT'S TRACKS!!! those who CLAIM to have double lunged a deer and it not die!!!! Well, I don't buy that, unless the deer in your area have a heck of a TRAMA UNIT!!!!! just my 2 cents from many, many dead animals!!!!
