Reviews and comments written for the Norma Vulcan bullet.

The Norma Vulcan is an excellent bullet for deer-sized game in 8mm Mauser. Don't let the bullet weight scare you away. Rather than having a choice of different bullets weights as most US companies do, Norma has chosen to produce multiple 196-grain bullets and vary the bullet construction for each type. I belive that the Europeans in general tend to use heavier for caliber bullets than hunters in the US. So the Vulcan is their deer bullet and the Oryx would be more appropriate as an elk/moose bullet, but both are 196 grains in 8mm Mauser.
