| an exelent bullet that expands perfectly, great weigt retencion aprox 90-98% everytime.I shot three mooses last year with this bullet, one big cow weight aprox 390 pounds at 16yards and two bulls aprox 570 pounds each at 160-300yards.I use the 180grains bullets most. But still the 200 grs bullet is probably a better choice in the 30-06.I have never had any problem with shoots going right through the animals, only time i have had that problem is with my 6,5x55swe mauser and then only when shooting calfs. |

| Extremely heavy jacket!!! Not designed for anything in the Lower 48. I shot an big cow elk at 245 yrds. Double lung, she ran about 1/2 mile then laid down and a long death. .308 hole in and .308 hole out! Whitetail deer, 417 yards. Same story. Very accurate. most groups out of 300 RUM were less then 1 inch at 100. 180 grain oryx are accurate but better for Cape Buffalo. |
