| I shoot a 129gr hornady sp in a 264 win mag, handloads are 67.5grs. of imr 7828 out of a ruger m77 24 inch barrel running 3350fps (no pressure signs) an outstanding load getting 3 shot groups at 100yds under an inch, performance on game has been wonderful with complete penetration on broadside shots on whitetail deer any where from 50yds to 200yds with about a 2 inch exit hole have dropped several deer in there tracks. Can't wait to shoot one out passed 200yds. Hornady is the best !!!! |

| I use the 270gr Hornady SP in my .378 Weatherby Mag. It has been an excellant on the range, with frequent 1 inch groups at 100yds, if I am doing my part. I have taken many elk at ranges from 10yds to over 400yds and the bullets always perform well. I highly recommend this bullet. |

| the .308/180 grs Hornady SP is a very fine bullet (as long as not loaded to really fast velocity = 30-06 and .300 WinMag/.300 WSM will be ok for that bullet)....
Loaded in my really fast .30 (chronographed with 3196 fts at the muzzle) I had very differently and suspicious "successes": a heavy-framed old male wild boar (stripped weight +220 pounds) was shot behind the heart at a distance of only 60 meters and dropped in its tracks - the bullet exited on the other side of the animal; young red-stag (stripped weight under 200 pds) shot at 120 meters (same shot-placement) jumped at the shot 3 meters into the air like an antelope, made a death-run of about 70 to 80 meters in companion of the whole bunch, there it went down dead - the bullet didnīt even exit that light-framed stag and had a recovered weight of only 60 grains (= 30%)....
as I said before: be aware not to use it in really fast-ones........ |

| On Nov 20/06 I shot a dandy 6X5 Whitetail with some very heavy mass using a 180gr. SP Hornady in Custom Ammo 30.06.
The shot was about 60 yds through the shoulder and demolished the lungs, punching out the other side.
My hunting buddy shot a 4x5 Whitetail a couple of days later at 250yds + using a Hornady 180gr BTSP in the Light Mag factory ammo 30.06. Performance and accuracy were just spectacular. |

| 270 grs bullet. Loaded with 71.0 grains of IMR 4064 and OAL of 2.62", I'm getting 1" groups at 100 yards and 3114 FPS. Yes 3114 FPS whihc is about 200 to 300 FPS faster than most manual list. From a CZ550 Safari Magnum Rifle with 24" barrell. Nice load. |

| In the early 90's I took a spindly 6X6 in a general hunting area using a Ruger#1 in 25.06 and 117gr Factory Hornady ammo. I was actually hunting for a muley doe but had the elk tag in my pocket when coming upon the elk. I took a shot using the prone position at a distance of about 400yds. The bullet hit the bull, he ran circled and stopped I hit him again and he ran off about 25yds in the bush and piled up. I was so excited at the time I didn't try to recover the bullets but I do remember they both penetrated the lungs. |

| I have used 200 GR, .358 caliber Interlocks in my 35 Whelen for three years now. All the gun nuts I hunts with joke about these light for caliber bullets...But the game doesn't. Big peanut field hogs (200-350 lbs), Whitetails and last year some exotics. It kills without mercy. DOA |

| My hunting buddy used my .300 handloaded with 180 Hornady SP's and took a small medium sized whitetail. The shot was along 160yds and the deer, like all the rest I have shot with this load collapsed on the spot. We were hunting near Rocky Mountain House Ab, Canada. The next day I took a 163 BC gross (net 151) whitetail on the same trail his deer was shot.(Nov 2004)
In 2000 I shot a 167 BC (gross score)with the same gun and load. This shot was one of the few 4 or 5 shots that I have taken over 30yrs of hunting that was pushing an honest 400yds across a cut block of timber. Rattled a doe in heat out and he was behind her. My first shot missed, the second hit him in the last rib and he ran about 25yds and piled up in the timber. Bullet was not recovered. |

buck in full rut at 90 yards in the neck.
down he went. no bullet recovered.
just fatal preformance as usual.again isay these are beautifal bullets .

| 95gr of H-4831 produces 'one ragged hole' groups at 75 yds. in my Ruger M77 Magnum. Also, used Federal nickel plated brass cases, Federal 215 mag primers, trimmed to minimum OAL, no pressure signs and this is supposed to duplicate factory ballistics. |
