Reviews and comments written for the Hornady Match moly bullet.

I have fired approximately 200 of bullets of this type developing a load for my Compass Lake Engineering AR15 Upper. My barrel has a very short throat where the Base to Ogive length is 1.877". My best load with this bullet is 24.1 grains of Reloader 15, a S&B case, a CCI400 primer with the bullet jump set at 0.005". At 200 yards I fired five groups of ten shots per group and realized an average group size of 1.13" extreme spread which isn't too bad. My goal is to develop a 600 yard load for this upper. Pressure signs in my rifle are "LOW" with this load.
