Reviews and comments written for the Hornady GMX bullet.
I have used 130 gr. 270 win loads for a couple years on deer and elk. 3 elk longest @502 yds, 3 whitetail, 1 muley. Have never had to track one. Shot a muley buck at 130yds yesterday and it went 10yds down hill and piled up. Absolutely sold on these bullets at moderate to high velocities (2800-3050 fps)

I hunt in a lead free zone and from my experience after using several of different lead free bullet makers the GMX out performs them all by a wide margin. Superior knockdown equal to lead. Currently only 1 weight available in .284 the 139 gr very close ballistic character of the SST.
