Reviews and comments written for the Berger VLD Hunting bullet.

I shot a buck deer at 280 yds. with my 30-06. The buck was undisturbed standing in a field. When it finally turned broadside I aim for the top of its heart and may have hit it. The bullet made a spectacular 4" exit wound. The buck ran/staggered 50' and fell dead. If I had loaded say a partition I might have taken an earlier end on shot but its better I waited no matter what the bullet. Here is a link to a picture of the exit wound. http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/473/1000104b.jpg
