.376 Steyr

The .376 Steyr (9.55x60) was officially introduced under the 1999 SHOT show. Itís based upon a 9.3x64 Brenneke case, shortened 4 mm, making it midway in physical size between the .350 Remington Mag and the .375 H&H The cartridge has become quit popular in Africa for thin skinned game and should also be adequate for any North American game.

This text is based on information from “Cartridges of the World”, Hodgdon reloading manual, the cartridge designer and/or own resources.
