Does anyone know if the Winchester Model 670, of the late 60's-early 70's, Winchester's economy model of the Model 70, will fit into a Model 70 stock? If not, can the 670 fit a 70 stock w/ some either major or minor adjustments? 7x57guy |

Maybe yes and maybe no. IIRC, the Winchester M670 and M770 had a blind magazine. If you using a regular 70's period regular stock, you're going to at least have to chase down a floor plate and maybe even a different magazine. As far as it's just dropping, most likely yhat will work OK although there may be some minor fitting needed. Paul B. |
