I can't believe that anyone would believe that meat is "grown in the back". This came from a left coast newspaper.

This really happened to me while fox hunting. I was approached by a tree hugger woman, who asked me what I was doing? I told her I was fox hunting. She promtly asked me what the fox had done to me, to be hunting him. lost.

I realy find it hard to believe that any one could be so ignorant as to believe meat does not come from critters.
I'd like to take her to my butcher when he's working on a calf for veal.

Ask today's grade schoolers in the large metropolitan areas where milk comes from.

Majority will say "from the store".

Oneokie, I was reading your sig line and it is inaccurate. Dumb is an inability to learn, but ignorance on the other hand can be beaten

Ok Ok. Of course the meat was made there, in a good store the meat was cut and wrapped according to how the customer wanted it. But not before it was in feed lot, pumped with all kinds of chemicals, then a slaughter house, killed using who knows what, gutted and aged then shipped to the retailer. Or you could be like us and Make meat by surgically implanting a projectile, in the form of a bullet or razor sharp broadhead in a vital area, feild dressing, aging and cutting to ones personal liking just like man has done for how long? With spears, arrows, rocks and so in an attempt to feed himself and family with the best possible meat possible.

Man I can't belive all you guys and gals are called hunters. I use sheep manure and pete moss and a little sand to grow mine in my back yard. I like mine off of the vine at around the 2 to 2.5 pound mark, you have to be carefull not to pick to early as you will get to much fat. Stan

Well, I mill rice, so rice bran is free, and it also happens to be great "Deer Meat" fertilizer. I can just watch them pop up out of nowhere. I then take my 6.5 mm "harvesting tool" and harvest the meat.

Vickers,
Don't you think a 6.5mm is little much? I use a 223 to prevent damage to the root structure.
